A 1700 year old Martini Glass?
We had a visit from Craig Harper on Tuesday ... with him he had his new purchase of a 1700 year glass bought that day from an antique shop in the west end. What better way of Christening this new purchase than with 69 Colebrooke Rows 'dry' Martini ...
It was first "sterilised" by filling it to the brim with Wray and Nephew as Craig was a little wary of anything to hot - or cold for that matter - coming into contact with the precious glass!
The chalice was handed round to pals Ian McLaren and Jay Hepburn (Oh Gosh Blogger) ... even Stuart and Camille had a go!
But the question remains, is it a 1700 Martini glass or a 1700 year old tealight holder?
